West Side Traffic Calming Project

This project aims to increase pedestrian safety and provide physical updates that will calm the flow of traffic across the west side of campus, providing a safer environment for patients, staff and students. Several traffic calming measures occurring across several phases include:

 

• At Wood and Fillmore there will be curb extensions.

• At Hermitage and Taylor there will be curb extensions and a raised crosswalk. 

• At Taylor and Wood there will be new traffic lights and a raised intersection.
